Lyndi Berrones manages projects across various industry sectors for TNECD. Prior to joining the department, Lyndi was the director of economic development for The Beacon Council, Miami-Dade County’s official economic development agency. There, she focused on recruiting new businesses and growing existing companies whereby assisting in the creation of more than 2,200 new jobs and $250 million in new capital investment.
A Chattanooga native, Berrones earned a master's degree in International Business and a bachelor’s degree in International Business and Finance from the University of South Carolina. Prior to moving to Miami, she worked for Hispanic Connections, a business consulting firm in Columbia, S.C. and South Bridge Access in Santiago, Chile. Lyndi currently serves on the Board of Directors for the YMCA of Middle Tennessee’s Community Action Project (Y-CAP).
